BJNCURLS was born from experience, resilience, and the belief that confidence should never be compromised.

Founded by Branslie Jn-Gilles, a luxury wig designer and natural hair advocate, the brand was shaped by a deeply personal journey.

After noticing hair thinning at a young age, Branslie spent years trying to preserve both her hair and her confidence—navigating so-called “protective” styles that caused more harm than help, and slowly realizing she was styling to hide rather than to feel like herself.

At the same time, someone very close to her—her stepmother—was battling colon cancer.

Through treatment, Branslie witnessed how hair loss affected more than appearance. It changed how her stepmother felt, how she showed up, and how much of herself she recognized in the mirror. That loss left a lasting imprint.

Determined to create a better option, Branslie began designing wigs for herself—units that were protective, natural-looking, and effortless to wear. What started as a personal solution quickly became something other women needed too.

BJNCURLS was created for women navigating hair loss, medical treatments, or simply seeking freedom from tension-causing styles—offering luxury, glue-less wigs that protect natural hair while restoring confidence.
